From Mark Bunker's XENUTV over at Vimeo. Architect, Lawrence Woodcraft (exscientologykids.com's Astra Woodcraft's dad), talks about his experiences aboard Scientology's flagship, the Freewinds. He was brought on board to renovate sections of the ship and quickly uncovered deadly blue asbestos.
It's been eight years since Lawrence did this interview and wrote an affidavit about asbestos contamination aboard the Freewinds but now someone is finally taking action. The ship has been docked and sealed by Caribbean authorities.

Asbestos and fiberglass are both dangerous. Fiberglass contains formaldehyde and can off-gas and cause cancer. The real solution is cotton insulation. It comes in batts just like fiberglass, but it doesn't itch and it doesn't contain formaldehyde. It's non toxic.
"The following [story] would be a comedy... if it wasn't true." - The Pentagon Papers
This guy's story sounds like something written for a dark comedy; personally, it reminds me of the scene in "Schindler's List" with the camp commander and the Jewish architect, except that 1) this guy hasn't been shot and 2) his superiors ignored his advice.
Fascinating. How many unsuspecting Scientologists may have this in their lungs? Who is to blame for this? They always manage to kill indirectly. That's how they get away with taking people off of their medications, people driven to suicide and now even asbestos! This is a carelss and dangerous organization on so many different levels.
Hundreds have been affected - maybe thousands. The worst affected would have been the crew who were onboard 24/7. David Miscavige is responsible since he is the highest authority reported to. And probably the captain who also knew.
I agree - it's disgraceful and hopefully, there will be millions, perhaps billions, to pay in damages and lawsuits. Not to mention jail time.
