Washington, D.C. -- Gulf Oil Spill Day 45 - Media outlets are reporting that British Petroleum, some local officials, USCG, and contractors are prohibiting media photography of dead and dying birds, victims of the BP Gulf oil spill. Censorship should not be tolerated. This may be the world's worse manmade ecological disaster unfolding in realtime. However, please use caution and supervision with young children.

@jellydee123 Its the fault of the British economic system, while many say Britian of socialist Britian in reality is corporatist, econimic laws and protectections are only used to drive small out competitors, it shows you the head of BP has been spending his time racing yaghts, in America our leaders at least pretend to belong to the common people.

Thank you for posting. I think children need to see this actually.
At the root of corporate irresponsibility is Corporate Personhood (in the US) and limited liability for corporations. Corporations can do what they want because there is NO ONE to hold them accountable to the people, which, IMO, would be the most important responsibility of the Government. It is the whole purpose of having a democratic government...a real one at least.
