Can you believe in God and Darwin at the same time? What is "theistic" evolution, and how consistent is it with traditional theism? What challenges does Darwin's theory pose for Protestants, Catholics, and Jews? Is it "anti-science" to question Darwinian Theory? @sweetmikser oh come on, who's kidding who?

@scarletharlot69 spoken like a true drone, who has no clue. But just barfs up the same regurgitated junk that he's heard. First of all, there are AGNOSTICS, who don't even like the Bible, who have challenged Darwinian "ape-men" myths, and supposed "fish ancestry of humans", etc, and find Darwinian evolution theory a CROCK...on SCIENTIFIC GROUNDS. The straw-men (like "drug-resistant bacteria") don't prove the going-back-in-time SPECULATIONS and force-fitting of Neo-Darwinism.

ALL Christians accept Evolution just as they all accept atomic theory, the theory of gravity, etc. the Only 'Christians' who don't accept evolution are fundamentalists/creationists.

I don't know why I keep watching videos about such sensitive subjects because the comments make me really depressed. D: Or, more specifically, the arguments going on in the comments.

Intelligent design is not scientific because it fails to pass tests in the scientific community. Their arguments are merely philosophical, subjective and biased. I've seen multiple examples when they provided false or twisted information in their own documentaries. They are NOT scientists. They are lobbyists. They work to bend the truth.

@rjkral You need to watch more creationist videos. They all claim that "scientist are abandoning the theory/ are in doubt/ cannot explain everything etc".
Funny how these "scientist" they present are either from the Hovind school of self-proclaimed expert without any real academic background or are from another field (e.g. mathematicians) and have little knowledge of the matter discussed.

@rjkral It starts out sounding good, kinda like Ken Millers book but it is just another video of people singling out evolution. Seriously these people have no problem with gravity or germ theory, but with evolution. Mutation might be random, but evolution is definitely not. Darwin's theory of sexual selection has gaps and problems (as Darwin himself stated in his lifetime), but his theory of evolution remains strong by evidence, and many people of faith see evolution as a fact.

@polaroidsky "If God gave his permission for man to be created through evolution, that would mean that the whole process would have to be guided." I agree wholeheartedly.

@JFMello1116 : The bible says that God created man. This means that he DIRECTED the process of creation, whether it be through a slow process of evolution, or simply creating man in full form. Even if it were through a slow evolutionary process, it wouldn't necessarily be evolution as we know it. It would be slow CREATION. It certainly wouldn't be random. If God gave his permission for man to be created through evolution, that would mean that the whole process would have to be guided.
