Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, and Spirituality

I had the privilege of speaking to this gentleman about his beliefs. After asking him a series of questions about his beliefs and even some of mine, I turned off the camcorder and had a great conversation about the truths of the Bible (i.e., God as creator, judge, and redeemer). I attempted to stress the point that it is impossible for our good to outweigh our bad. Furthermore, our sin is an offense to God, which renders us imperfect and requires punishment. No amount of good can reduce what we owe God because of our sin. But thanks be to God that he provided a solution for our sin and alienation from himself in Christ.

He seemed to understand. I pray the Lord will open his mind and heart to truth of Christ.
