  • Good presentation!

  • wohoo thanks helped mee alot

  • how would you do it with a 355 one?

  • maybe you play a little hard? Thanks for the vid... I always wanted to know what it liiked like in there!

  • Say u have an asshole brother who intentionally poured soda into your keyboard... 1 key is sticking and requires a lot of force to press. How would I go about fixing this?

  • Thanks so much!!! Now I feel confident that I can fix my keyboard!!! Yeah! I NEVER would have tackled it without watching you do it, so I REALLY appreciate it!!!

  • DUDE! Your video is the best!! Thanks for showing me exactly what I needed to see. Hope the "old girl" gives you many more years of service. We should all chip in and buy you a powered screwdriver!

  • You`re the man Bro!!! I`m kinda like whoooo-ing on what to expect inside so I didn`t dare to open mine...but when I saw what`s inside.... YEAH!!!

  • @nobody000tube, after replacing keys and hammers did you notice the action for the key was more like new (firmer, less mushy) afterward? If so, do you attribute it to the key or the hammer replacement? Thanks!

  • I had a dead key on a Roland RD-500 a couple years back, and it was not the hammer mechanism that was broken, but the key itself had worn down. It was middle C. So I swapped that middle C key with the lowest C key on the keyboard and that was enough to fix it (though I'm without a lowest C key.)

Does anyone know if you can still buy key replacements for the RD-500?

And also, thanks a lot for this video.
