  • yes it is a credenza... nameplate credenza as well... I bought this from a Victor employee a long time ago.. it is a prototype with a medium size horn and a space under the horn for a radio chasis.. appearantly it never went over and was a one-off... from what i can tell it is a 8-4 horn and grille...... this is also a wind up machine,,, i also have an electric credenza-x with the full size horn....

  • It is Victor... i had the reproducer rebuily by Walt Sommers. and i resealed all the joints and seams in the orthophonic horn....... it has a nice deep slamming Bass....

  • What does the brass nameplate read...CREDENZA or 8-30? Also, it definitely has the grille to model 8-4.

  • Your Credenza looks and sounds like it was made yesterday - beautiful! Is that an HMV or Victor?

  • Great! ~ (almost sounds like Jimmy Cagney singin' it!:0)
