@ATsarIsBorn I think this was, what am I saying, IS a groundbreaking show which is still very powerful, but, and mind you this is my opinion, there have been shows since which have made bigger points, been far more emotionally powerful and have had some more interesting productions since.

I recall Sondheim saying, on a BBC radio programme, that this song ('Poems') is his favourite, not just of this show, but of all his shows.
