is this match for the fortune cookie championship?

Pat O'Connor was the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion on May 24, 1960.

You see O'Connor suffer through repeated head scissors in a golden age match against Lorenzo Parente, so I'm thinking that he enjoyed being in a head scissors. At 50, he might have also been interested in using it with DM as a pacing device. Keep in mind as well that this match is taking place in Japan, which required a different pace than that required by American audiences.

Thanks for uploading this full match.
But I have to say I don't get it. This isn't a good representative of O'Connor's abilities. He falls for the counter head scissors seven times? I think O'Connor went out there to just joke around.
yeh i agree with you on Pat, he reallt enjoyed being locked in those headscissors. Do you think there was something sexual in it? I mean, if a guy gets locked in a headscissors and he gets out of it and goes back to the same hold that got him in a headscissors and he does it over and over again===maybe Pat enjoyed having those hairy thighs around his face. If you look at any of Pat's wrestling matches, 90% of the time he got locked in a headscissors. Oh well, if he enjoyed smelling down there,

Actually the point of a headscissor is to wear the guy's neck down. Nothing sexual about that

After the second time Dick clamped a headscissors on him after he went for the headlock, Pat knew the same thing thing would happen and yet he went for the headlock again. And again. And again. And again. And again..

I guess he just wanted to show him that his lousy headscissors ain't got shit on him.
