Two superb guitar players, a brilliant rhythm section and a great singer.
-
Well, their best stagewear were the foil clothes you can see on the cover of the live album.
-
They are dressed so formal in comparison to reality
-

-

This is probably the earliest (surviving) footage of th MC5 performing - where on earth was it recorded?...
-
These guys were actually damn good musicians, something that can't be said about all those bands to follow in their footsteps.

@colabacio I agree, all respect due to MC5, one of the "overlooked" pioneers of Blues Rock and Rock & Roll. There's a people, that are simply, passionate portrayals and It's intended to be just that, whether it catches on or not. MC5 is, if anything, most recognized for their ability to express rebellion culture & Rock with huge Soul. The fact that it was a displeasure to many, does not change that fact that MC5, has a solid, influential, impact in Rock and music/political history.
They were too raw to be mainstream. A blessing in a way. All Soul

Rob Tyner's "Afro starter kit"! The afro begins here! Wished he kept the glasses, though. They make him look very 'collegiate'.
