When in Zambia I asked one of the guys in the army the same question (about Congo) involvement in the Congo region would leave Zambia vulnerable to attacks from the same groups fighting the Congolese gov. So the goal is to keep a neutral stance. which is unfortunate but ....for the sake of Zed peace.

They have been very much under utilized yet they are the most disciplined army in Africa. Why don't the government take the chance to use this army to sanitize the Congo and other area and the claim the money nack from the UN? Why should the Zambian Army be under the comand of Indian Soldiers in Afriaca? It means India will get more money for their peac keeping even when they do a bad job like what has been happening of late.
