UFO PLANE with VANISHING LIGHTS 5-24-2010 nyc

OKK.... Nice night last night for sky watch'n.. Nice and clear. This sucker caught my eye coming in from the EAST. Mind you, its heading directly over MANHATTAN.. not one airport in site downtown. I noticed it because the lights on it were very intense and super bright. (no noise also) As I watched and record, the lights on the UFO begin to vanish. It started with 5. When I record, it has 4, then 3 and finally 2. Very creepy. Rule out landing gear lights or take-off lights because again its OVER MANHATTAN. A plane leaving JFK or LGA would of had the lights set already by the time it passes by Manhattan. en-joy.

I have footage somewhere in my footage pile of a similar one doing this and it completely turns off all the lights at the end, going in complete DARK MODE.. Super strange stuff.

@tomjkd1 ok, have you been to NYC. To Manhattan? Manhattan is an ISLAND with no airports in sight. Its heading downtown, over Manhattan (SSW). JFK is 7 miles away (SE). LGA in back of me. If this was landing or going to land @ JFK, it would be to early for the landing stuff to happen. Way to early..

Yeah it looks like a B2 the way the lights are positioned. I had one fly over my house extremely low and I saw the exact same lights you're seeing there. I live near a military base so that's why

It's a stealth, and they fly over that area all the time. Gee, I wonder why. No "landing lights" on a stealth for crying out loud.

That must be an X-Wing Fighter, that's the only explanation 'cause that CANNOT be a plane ! Nowadays if you see something flying in the sky, that will NEVER be a plane. NEVER do I have seen a plane flying in th sky !

@Vik456 If LGA was to your back, and it was flying SSW, chance are it was going to EWR. I think the angle of which you are shooting made the 3rd light mend with the light on the right wing. Not trying to debunk your theory, but it makes sense when ya think about it.
