@MegaTress1 consider the possibility of a woman president. But you are already several steps ahead of him, which is nice. If an advocate of men's rights (who dislikes feminists) can state that women should be able to achieve powerful positions, then I am happy.
I agree that women tend to be more emotional than men. And it makes sense, if you can rely less on emotions you can perform more strong/direct actions. But perhaps there are other differences about women which contribute well in office? Also, competition between women tends to rise as they obtain better opportunities. It's understandable that you feel anger towards women who go about hating on men, they also anger me. But I too feel frustrated with men like my neighbor, who can't even
@ThrillerDance99 women should be able to obtain powerful positions in society, but they will never do this equally to men because of how competative men are in general, all men and women are not the same. there are some highly competative unemotional women out there and there are some uncompetative emotional men out there. i am quite emotional for a man. women have many many qualities that men don't. if i come across as misoginistic it is out of frustration because of widespread misandry
women are more emotional than men, in general, i'm sure there is evidence somewhere to back this up. politicians work on cold logic when it comes to things like war etc. they use things like game theory to decide whether or not to bomb people because this is the logic of war. if you don't use cold logic (no emotions) your enemy who does will defeat you, but margret thatcher was considered very hawkish when it came to international relations so hillary would probably have been ok.
@MegaTress1 a few remarks when Hillary Clinton was running for president. My neighbor told me that women are too emotional and that she would bring that in the office. If he voted against her because he disliked her political views that is one thing, but his reason was based on what he called the "nature" of woman. I'm not saying everyone agrees with him, but I'm showing an example of how women can be considered underprivileged in this sense.
@MegaTress1 I'm not sure what you are implying by this? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems you are hinting it's against nature for women to obtain a powerful status in society? I understand that in order to survive in a society where raising children is expensive, women would want to save money by having 1 or 2 kids, or they will prolong having children until they graduate. But I highly doubt this is the reason for why American's are not comfortable a woman president. I've heard a few
It's funny how every video that has to do with this movie has feminism debates in the comments.
