@fdrww2 i usually picked up the vinyl that i heard a demos.i was always going to look at the high end equiptment with the dream of owning a Macintosh tube amp and speaker setup.money has never allowed.i do have a QX 949 Quad amp the puts out nicely.i own Fresh Air 1-V series on vinyl.another good test of your equipment is Jennifer Warnes."Famous Blue Raincoat"("Jenny Does Lenny").her voice is so pure when she sings "Bird On A Wire" it's almost unbelieveable.it's a great CD.

@fdrww2 I have virtually the same story to tell. Except a friend was in the market for a stereo system. The salesman put this track on and . . . we both looked at each other and said, woooh who is this? Fresh Aire III was the first Mannheim Steamroller I bought. I now have all the Fresh Aire series! I almost had the chance to meet Chip Davis at a place I once worked which produced and packaged some of his online offerings.

I bought a Sota Saphire Turntable with a SME 5 Pick-up while listening to this song! To you youngsters... you would undertand. But to put it simply music has depth no cd can reproduce, IMHO.

@leroymaximus And we all are longtimers, no matter the physical age.
WOW! I'm an old timer of 68 yrs and it's years since I've heard such good music. The cliche' 'they don't make music like that any more' certainly applies to all of the Fresh Aire series. Even though listening to MP3 quality on this you tube sound track is music to my ears (Sorry about the pun) My early days of Hi-Fi listening were single channel via a (get this) a Mullard 10watt valve amp. And it was loud! Next progression was stereo one channel provided by the BBC TV and the other via FM radio

When I entered college in 1976, I got my first real HiFi stereo system. The salesman had an LP (vinyl disk to the younger readers here) of this song that he played to demo his Pioneer stereo gear. I bought the system and the first record I bought was Fresh Aire! 35 years later, I still love it!!!
