Makes me sick right! we hear our leaders saying we will use green tech to save the plannet. Biofuels for our cars (grown on ex rainforest), windmills to generate clean energy bla bla bla bla bla. when all we REALLY need to do is replant the 50% of the rainforest we have destroyed in the last 50 years and let nature do its work.

Then you have the aussies saying they think man made climate change is a myth and even if we 'INVENTED' a carbon sink it would take 40 years or so.. why invent a carbon sink when one already exists.. THE RAINFOREST. but no... the time it took her to talk that shite hundreds of acres of rainforest had been cleared.

É engraçado ver os americanos ( maiores consumidores do mundo) dizendo que é horrivel o que os brasileiros fazem na amazonia. Pra onde vocês acham que vai a madeira? ah ok..

Cattle farming is maybe the biggest cause, but not the real cause!
The world's population grows 100'000'000 every year.
If they all only eat corn they need a area of 4000km2 to grow their food! (more every year)
So tell me, where do you take land without chopping down the rainforest?
Wher do you fish, without using the ocean?
It is not about eating fast food, or vegerianism.

You are all condemmning these cattle farmers and blaming them to destrroy the plannet?
We humans are growing on a speed of 100Millions a year. So you have two option, or kill them all, (quet difficult) or chop down all rainforests, fish all the oceans.
We are getting crowded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!

Well with no rainforest and no fish none of us will live, so it will get difficult anyway.

Im sure that logging had nothing to do with deforestation. Wake up and smell the carbon rich air people.
