Wow, pretty cool and some very classy women. I want to join OES but I have to have some sort of tie within my family. My mom says that there were Masons in my family and she is trying to find out about her uncle that was in Freemasonry. So I am going to try and track down the father line (my granddad's) As most of the Youngs have founded the town of Ludington up in Mason County here in Michigan.

Can someone tell me what masons and masonry is. I have a concern and I don't want to judge something by what others say unless I talk to someone who is an OES. I am scared to ask a friend who is an OES. I am not judgemental so I just want clarity that's all as I am a learning college student at Clark Atlanta.
