SFIV Gimpyfish (Fei Long) vs Bison Online Friendlies - Video 4

I played and recorded a few friendlies online the other night - I picked a few of my favorite matches and decided I'd upload them.

I don't have any delusions of self greatness or glory in this game - I've only been playing the Street Fighter franchise since the release of the console SFIV in the states. I'm making progress - but I'm not that good atm. I'm MORE than willing to accept critiques or advice! My opponent is much better than me and we are just experimenting with playstyles and the like.

I didn't put the other players name on the video because he didn't know we were recording - and he was just experimenting with characters that he isn't tournament ready with yet.

sry if its a noob question but im new at SF:

...how the FUCK that guy playing with bison uses the charge moves(like the front flip kick thing) so fast! teh only way for me to do it is holding the direction for like 2 seconds, so how can u use those moves so fast, like at the moment the game starts? is there a fast load technique or wutever?

you can charge while doing other things

you can charge just after you start jumping you can charge while attacking you can charge while being attacked you can even charge during the game load screen

so as soon as he does that "front flip kick thing" he holds back again - and after the move is done it's almost been fully charged again so he can do it almost immediately

I also dislike the fact that Sakurai does not try to make the game competitive, quite the opposite really. However, I do not agree that this rules out Smash as a fighting game. True, you don't play with items in a tournament, but you don't play zombie mode in a halo tournament, that is just for fun. This does not mean that Halo is not a shooter , just because there are elements in it for casual gamers only. The fact that you can turn off items in smash bros lends itself to my argument.
