Didn't realise just how good this version was compared with the famous (slightly later) version by Crystal Gayle. Well sung Sandy Newman and well arranged!!

@Wigglingwench45 Sorry, this isn't Dean Ford singing lead vocals, this is Sandy Newman who replaced Dean after he went solo. Hope this helps

Talking in your sleep should definitely have been a hit for Marmalade - their version is far superior to Crystal Gale's. The Marmalade version was before Miss Gale's so it beggars belief that it didn't make No 1. Mimikate 1 - Why would they want to use Dean's likeness behind them - he was very good but long gone. Everthing moves on. The BBC were very short sighted in not giving it air time seeing that it was performed by an English Group. Great shame - I love this song

Wasn't the Crystal Gale version from 1978, making this version the earlier one?
