His renditions are always so commanding. It spoils me so that i can barely tolerate other singers.

The difference between Leo Nucci & Thomas Hampson is night & day. Hampson's "Americanised" vowels & diction are horrendous in this aria, his tonality is VERY uneven and his notes are most UNTIDY - such faults become especially glaring in the latter part of the aria. Nucci's tonality on the other hand is FAULTLESS and his PRECISION is dynamite!
And Hampson, despite being exceedingly handsome, has the most UNattractive facial expressions. Nucci's facial expressions are very appealing and sexy.
