  • what are these two last spoken words meant and that is two times repeatedly" it was a real pleasure to meet you" indicates?...is'nt it like what was he thinking so deep ? :/

  • @lgee191 Indeed, it will be. All areas of science are converging toward the creation of a posthuman species... It will start with simple genetic engineering. We'll take evolution into our own hands. Superintelligence will be created and they will race ahead in all areas - scientists will be left to interpret the findings of these 'superhumans.' Eventually it could lead to new evolutionary paths.

  • What I learned that I have in common with Hawking: We do our best thinking after 4 pm.

  • It will soon be possible to greatly increase the lifespan and intelligence of a few individuals? WTF who else knew this was going on?

  • @Alchaeon1 Blah blah blah! just enjoy the fucking video.

  • @Esoparagon Then people wouldn't recognize him, they'd think somebody else was talking. Duh! Hehe: )

  • @Alchaeon1 I agree with you to a certain extent in that they're contributions to the knowledge base of physics may not have been as great as others. However we have had a lack of interaction, in recent decades, between physicists and the public which these two have improved dramatically. So it depends on your definition of great physicist. I suspect that the scientists who make the greatest discoveries aren't in it for the public relations however for science to continue this is essential.

  • @Esoparagon not really he has had that voice for a significant proportion of his life, he is attached to it now and doesn't want to change it to something he regards as not his voice.

  • @Fedaykin24 Pfft. What a dumb reason.

  • @Esoparagon because he regards it as his voice. This is well known.
