    Ah, that's a bit harsh. :)

    I miss Dan Rather.

    Scott Pelley is about as exciting as a bowl of applesauce with a side of dry toast. But at least he tries to come across as a serious newsman. He (or John Roberts) should have succeeded Rather back in '05.

    I remember watching Katie Couric's first broadcast. I groaned when she chirped, "Hi, everyone!" It was all downhill from there.
