The Atheists Religion

Taken, in part, from a Ray comfort blog article titled, "The religion of Evolution", dated 12-11-09. It is good to point out that the Atheists do have and "Idol" in their hearts for Atheism and evolutionary thinking. They certainly defend it like it was their god. they even defend the leaders of the Atheistic society, past and present. if it doesn't really matter anyway, why defend it so adamantly? What's the difference what we believe then?
But no, the atheist must defend evolution and their atheism, because God must not, and can not be the answer.

This is my opinion on atheism as a religion First off, I would concede that it is a belief - but then I'd argue that everything we "know" is only what we believe, so that doesn't really change anything. Secondly, I would say it is different from major religions because of the way our belief come about. Your beliefs come from God right? So if you can find evidence to prove that, great. Our beliefs come from the evidence, which we collect before we decide what to believe. That is how we differ

Atheism is not a 'religion' - you really need to start looking outside the labels and cults that population controlling religions have been doing for thousands and thousands of years...

@togalogs It is a religion in the sense that it adheres to a set of beliefs. Why all the atheist web sites, books, radio shows defending atheism and attacking Christianity???

Just go away if you're an atheist. Why defend anything if you believe we all go away in the end.

@emptywithoutjesus Its good so see some decent argument out there, I enjoy debating, and YouTube is an excellent forum for it. It's a shame that there can be so much hate, it really detracts from otherwise good stuff going on. But don't worry about them and keep making videos!

Of course their angry, you intentionally misrepresent their position after being told time and time again what that position is. This is a clear case of willful ignorance. Atheism is not a religion is the same way the not collecting stamps is a hobby. It is the absents of belief in a deity. Its the same as saying you are a non-Islamic, does that mean you have a religion in the non belief of Allah? No. There is no dogma in your non-belief, you simply don't

There are a couple of important points that you don't appear to grasp. Firstly atheism is independent of evolution. One deals with population mechanics, the other a belief in the existence of god. Secondly, regarding your assertion that macro evolution never happens, there's an elephant in the room that you're ignoring: the theory of evolution is completely falsifiable.
