Sin duda, el mejor show de cualquier Olimpiada. Todavía recuerdo la emoción de ese día como si fuera ayer. ¿Qué nos pasó? ¿En qué nos hemos convertid0?

I love Cristina and Antonio.....together or separately.

@dualpoletech their products in any of the Olympic venues or affilates. Not even the famed Good Year blimp can post that sign on it's side...

@raidz06 I absolutely agree with you on that. Interestingly enough, the man responsible for this incredible show is not even Spanish. He is a british man living in the island of Trinidad named Peter Minchall. He gained international notoriety for creating the most lavish and artistic Carnavals in the island. He also produced part of the opening in Atlanta. But sorry, Atlanta was a disgrace. So much so that the IOC passed very strict rules for future games. No sponsor, how ever big can advertise

She is amazing! I was just walking down the Gran Via and someone thrust a leaflet in my hand for her show. I didn't have a clue who she was but just went along as it was just 20 euros.(£15 back then) I sat thru the show in a trance it was truely breathtaking and as the theatre was small and intimate you could feel it even more. Returned to London to see she was to perform at Sadlers Wells with tickets starting at £60!!!! Thank god I was in Madrid and had the opportunity to see her live.

agree in all !!!!
THIS is real entertainment... giving us an absolutely breathtaking taste of the host country. All the acts in this ceremony were done with such class and so truely Spanish. So heartfelt and passionate. Not some fake popstar who thinks the world revolves around him/her and that his/her presence is the only thing that makes the ceremony. Freddie Mercury was exceptional though... he was as heartfelt and passionate as any of the ceremony's performers... Future hosts take very careful notes.
