With religion and racism, the republican party has kept the lower and middle classes of the South to vote against themselves since the civil rights. @rickinnev Pay attention to fact and reality, little child: DJIA closed on January 20, 2009 at 7949.09. It is currently (close as of October 1, 2010) at 10829.68. That's greater than a 36.2% increase in less than two years of Obama's Administration.

In more than four times as long for those great big tax cuts to perform magic, the Bush Administration saw the DJIA drop from 10578.24 to the aforementioned 7949.09, a loss of over 33%. All clearly documented fact. Only the blind do not see it.
