If your considering the Toyota FJ Cruiser for your next SUV you should take a few moments and look real hard at the Nissan Xterra. For 2010, the Xterra is yet again available in four well-outfitted trim levels X, S, Off-Road and SE making it simple for buyers to establish the exact Xterra model for their particular needs and lifestyles. Enhancements for the 2010 model year include revised X Gear Package content (now standard on Xterra S and SE models), the addition of Technology Package content as standard on Xterra SE and OR models, and simplified exterior and interior color selections. Nissan makes it a little easier for find the exact model you want Vs the Toyota FJ Cruiser.

As in previous years, Xterra features a long wheelbase for an excellent ride and abundant interior room, yet overall length is highly controllable due to the short front overhang helping to increase maneuverability in off-road hill climbing and trail situations. Xterras flexible interior is roomy enough for up to five adults and their gear, with plenty of leg room, headroom and cargo room. A standard 60/40 split folding stadium-style rear seat with detachable seat bottom cushions and an available fold-down front passenger seat (Off-Road model) create added utility for hauling long recreational gear. The Toyota FJ Cruiser Seattle only has two real doors and makes it difficult for passengers to get in and out of, especially if they have extra gear.

Underneath its exceptional exterior design, every Xterra features a fully boxed, all-steel ladder frame and a strong suspension featuring a steel double-wishbone front suspension and solid axle leaf spring rear suspension, with stabilizer bars front and rear. Xterra Off-Road models feature Bilstein high-performance gas shocks, a rear tire deflector and skids plates covering the oil pan, fuel tank and transfer case (4WD only). The Toyota FJ Cruiser frame and suspension is not even in the same boat as the Nissan Xterra as its built on a traditional C frame.

Xterras list of safety features and equipment includes Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS with dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant classification sensors), driver and front passenger seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags and 3-point front/rear seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters and adjustable upper anchors. All Xterras also come with standard roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor for improved front and rear-seat outboard occupant head protection.

If you would like to see first hand why we believe the Nissan Xterra is the better choice over the Toyota FJ Cruiser call 360-373-6300 today to schedule your test drive.

  • Xterra!

  • You should really learn to memorize what you're going to say, or just freestyle your speech. Everyone can see you looking at the board to read what you're saying.

  • xterra is awesome! i own one, but this presentation is so poor that it should be taken off the youtube not to give it a bad name, i mean come on i didn't hear or see much facts, this may have been taken in some garage for all i know by dude that wants to work for nissan and is trying to impress them. much was said but none worth listening.

  • We have a fully stock 05 xterra and we raced a fj cruiser like a half a quarter mile and won. Nissan FTW!

  • this guy needs to lay off the cue cards and actually learn about the vehicle and open it up and show it off for a vid.

  • Good hussle. Get in there, GET IN THERE!

  • @thybigballs hey fan boy your on every xterra video trolling like a bitch! get the fuck outta here! the xterra has more power and is a badass off roader. fj is a sick off roader but is bufugly which stand for butt fuckin ugly! if you want to argue that you have the best off roader go get a rubicon but your fj argument is trash.

  • @hayhowrevop90 what class? And best in what manner and by how much? You sound like a salesman giving useless and insignificant facts

  • @hayhowrevop90
