F.E.A.R. 2 Demo 5:18 -ish Speedrun on Easy Difficulty

Here's a run for the PC demo of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin done on easy difficulty. 5:18 is a rough guess with the periods of uncontrollable parts excluded.

The run's far from being good, not to mention how far from being excellent. I screwed up here and there. The most notable mistakes might be the one around 5:17, where I failed to bypass the robot with one or two slide-kicks only. Actually you could notice that I didn't even manage to touch it.

Around 2:46, I thought I could slide-kick through the door but failed, thus wasting much time.

However, I'm quite happy with the jump over the car around 4:54, cuz sometimes it may get you stuck there. The best method seems to be doing a side jump instead of going straight ahead, while it's still pretty random. What may be even worse in this case is that you may be shot by the rifle above with a lot of health lost if not hurrying enough.

The "Alma's phantom" path was not satisfying either, since I failed to shot down as many phantoms possible, which cost a lot of health. I picked up the missile launcher but didn't use it; however this hardly wasted any time.

Yes the new computer is so high-end and so powerful that I can run almost every game on their highest-visual-effect settings under a high resolution. ^^ But sometimes recording on Hi-Res is annoying (due to frame drop).

This games looks horrible, lots of shooting and emerging enemies. :/ The realization and the graphics are neat though, I can't deny that.

Hehe, no wonder you think it looks horrible. F.E.A.R. 1 is always considered as the scariest game ever in history. Dunno if F.E.A.R. 2 will beat it in terms of being scary. xD

INSANE ALMA SCARE - Note the 90 degree L turn at 4:21. Now, at 4:27 after alma disapears off the ceiling and the light swings back and forth, turn around and go back through the door you jsut came through back to the L turn mentioned at 4:21. walk just a couple feet past the L turn and then turn around.

Just make sure your wearing a diaper.

it took my like 10 playthroughs of the demo to find that. it scared the FUCK OUT OF ME. like the part with alma next to that medpack in the cage is obvious, they knew people would see that if they turned around. but i found the part u mentioned, there was no horror music jingle or ANYTHING. no shadows, no sounds whatsoever. i nearly pissed myself and i was in an xbl party at the time -.- the phrase "What's wrong with you?" came up lol

theres 2 or 3 of those scares. after the "kitchen" or whatever you want to call it. the room with medkit. walk backwards to the wall and alma will show up near the fence. there is 1. and there is also one in the bathroom,i got it to happen only once thou.
