Per-Olov Kindgren plays Augustin Pío Barrios Mangoré (1885-1944) "Vals Op. 8 No. 3".
Sorry it's not perfect but I decided to broadcast it anyway...
Barrios, a great lover of culture, was quoted as having said; "One cannot become a guitarist if one has not bathed in the fountain of culture." I haven't been in that fountain yet but I'm getting closer :-)

  • @AndanteLargo M. Kindgren, you play this piece in the right tempo, in tune, in Barrios´s style!

How do I know? I´m a Paraguayan classical pianist and I´ve been listening to lots of guitarists play this piece in my country for the past 50 years.

    It´s a waltz, right?

You honor Barrios all the time by who you are towards his music.

    Mil gracias ahora y siempre.

  • @AndanteLargo It sounds perfect to my Paraguayan ears! Thank you so much.
