Republicans have no problem dropping 3 Trillion dollars in Iraq, but when it comes to spending money on Americans they start worrying about the deficit.

if anyones to blame for 11000 page documents it's the lawyers in congress and moneyed interest that fight viciously to prevent any widely opened broad language bill. Glass steagal was less then 50 pages? Did you know that? under democrats. dodd frank? over 1000. and why? because people who push and generate and analyze papers need something to do to justify their meaningless existance.

aka Boehner pointlessly forgets that the lawyers and lobbyst that represent the corporations paid for a bill that was narrowly defined and obsessive so they could pick it apart piece by piece to find loopholes in it just so it would get enough republican support to actually pass the house. if anything the people he's defending are to blame for the huge bill. lawyers need work to do: this gives them a way to justify their existence

Stating the obvious doesn't score points. Apparently protecting the taxes of those 1% does in his mind.
