After watching these videos, i think i understand why my daughter wants to go back. She moved to Galveston, in aug of 08. Was there only 26 days when ike hit. She stayed but came home summer of 09 and now she is going back this august. I think after going through what the people of Galveston went through, having stayed, i think she feels a connection, u can't go through what galveston people went through and not be connected to the island.
