Eight month later, this communiqué is still current. On February 15, 2009, Chavez will try to pass a constitutional amendment to guarantee his indefinite reelection as it is currently happening in Cuba. let's not forget that in Venezuela, as well as in Cuba, the Electoral National Council is controlled by the ruling dictator.

To prevent the destruction of our republican political system of freedom and democracy, depends on us.

If we obey out of fear, we will be slaves. But if we challenge and resist out of love for Venezuela, we will be free.
