I can see this having a lot of interesting applications. It could certainly make Skype more interesting. Though I'd really like to see this technology used to augment MMOs, allowing your character to speak and emote as you do.

I would love for them to be able to implement this into games (Especially MMORPGs) within the next 15 years or sooner. It would add so much more depth and realism into the games and make Roleplay much more intuitive. Maybe even sometime in the future we could have CoD games where the player has to look around corners and take cover behind objects by actually completing the motions themselves, making Gaming not only fun, friendly, and social, but also seen as a form of exercise.

I'm assuming he means Kirito from SAO (Sword Art Online). It's a very popular anime that was released just last year. So I understand that you've never heard of him since it DID just release while Miku has been "alive" for who knows how long. Hope this helped -^_^-
