@silverblade43 What? Penn State is clearly a middling (perhaps a little higher) Big Ten team this year, who is replacing 4 NFL players on defense and has a Freshman starting at QB. Did you really expect them to beat Alabama, or even stay close with them, for that matter? Penn State actually played fairly well, considering......

Alabama needs to play someone like Ohio State or Iowa to get a truly fair match.

@silverblade43 But then again, if you're able to sustain drives, that makes you a better team. Any team can cash in at least a field goal if they start at the 40 yard line, but what's to say that same team wouldn't get figured out and forced to punt? Actually Northwestern turned the ball over four times and Auburn twice. But I think a lot better of a team that scores a touchdown on a 92 yard drive than on a 25 yard drive. Most teams fall apart when backed up near their own end zone.
