Prelude by Jean-Marie Raymond

This piece is from Jean-Marie Raymond's "3 petites fantaisies progressives" collection. The collection can be purchased on the www.productionsdoz.com web site. I found this piece not trivial to play - especially the middle part - but it flows so nicely and is well worth learning.

Played on an Esteve 9C/B guitar

  • Thanks Vernon!

  • Dear Svilen,

your playing gives me one idea: To order all available scores from productionsdoz. All there seems to be great music. But I think also your interpretation is the best part of it. Very well played!

And BTW: I for myself cannot play with earphones since the tone there is delayed in my system.

  • Hi Andi,

There is quite a variety on that publisher's web site, so no matter what you like to play you will find something there. The best part is that you can get most pieces in PDF format (saving 25%) and they are in your inbox usually within 24 hours.

  • Hi Gunter,

Thanks for taking the time to listen!

  • Hello Svilen, a nice prelude, very well played. I didn't knew Jean-Marie Raymond. He's a wonderful guitarist and composer.

    Best wishes, Günter

  • Thanks for the tip, I'll check out the composer. BTW - You make lovely sounds! It's always a pleasure to listen to your uploads! Best, sam :-D

  • Thanks Sam!

Take a look at the author's web site as well - noci64 on youtube. He plays many of his pieces and plays them really well. Ear warmers may sometimes help as well - like when I'm still struggling with learning something to muffle the bad sounds :)
