Garland Jeffreys' 1973 record of this was put on YouTube in 2011, backed by a recently-made video. It's really great.
This cover, it's very energetic and catchy. Very different than the original but maybe as good.

i admit the vocalist can change the restrictions of a band so there are similar characteristics but they are completely different
