A talk on OpenIndiana, an exciting community distribution of OpenSolaris that provides an alternative to Solaris 11 Express that is fully open source and completely free to use, even in production!
Very informative. I only learned of OpenSolaris a few weeks ago, and learned of OpenIndiana only today. I did make a Youtube video of OpenSolaris running on Virtualbox, and mentioned OpenIndiana in the vid. I like where it's all heading. Alas, getting people to migrate from Linux to OpenIndiana will be almost like getting people to migrate from Windows to Linux. I have tried hundreds of times, and only a handful ever have, but Linux users are more adventurous. If you build it, they will come!
