the videos has some beauttiful images. I just moved from Trona a couple of months ago. Lived there most of my life.Its not so sad there.Its what you make of it.Its not as cool as it used to be but it will always be home to me.

My husband grew up there. Played football for the HS. He says, no, it didn't glow but it fricken hurt to scrape across it because of the brackish water they sprayed on it to control the dust. It was a dirt field. Nice song. Sad place now.

I thought so too, Shiver. I stole :) the Trona photos off the net. Most of them said they are from the area including some of the "sad girls" including the trophy girl. I knew a guy years ago who grew up there. I'll always remember him saying that the football field glows in the dark. That always stuck with me. I don't know if it's true. Juliette Commagere voice is perfect for this.
