  • This is one of the greatest bouts i've ever seen. John Tatum is wasted talent. He should have been World champion muiti time. Terry Taylor is one of the greatest of all-time. This is what wrestling should look like. Not the steroids and the lights, that's all wwe is.

  • To bad the UWF didnt take off instead of the crappy WWF/WWE.

  • IceMan King Parsons and HollyWood John Tatum are by far my favorite wrestlers of all-time...Entertainment at its best. They need to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame.

  • @Jiltedin2007 And he was as nice as anyone I'd met. Told us joke after joke. Missing Link Dewey Ribertson was sitting there too in ring wear reading some big thick book which looked funny as hell. A great bunch of guys and a great bunch of workers. The best and hardest working at the time. I'm still a Bill Watts fan, even though he's lost his mind, IMO.

  • @BaronTurco Ah, cool. You met "Dr. Death".

  • @Jiltedin2007 That was the night at The Olympic that I first met Steve Williams, among everyone else on their roster. He convinced me that I should give Watts a call. It seemed like a dressing room with a great attitude, like St Louis.

  • @BaronTurco Wow, how I wished that I knew when that day was.

  • @Jiltedin2007 I was in L.A. at the same time and they only came through here for a 2 night tour once. The first night the packed the Olympic, but the second night they drew only a few hundred fans in Costa Mesa.

  • @BaronTurco

Even though I did not see much of UWF Wrestling living in Los Angeles, but I saw enough of it, especially the match where Dr. Death(Steve Williams) beat that fat ass Big Bubba Rogers for the UWF Championship, to know that it was the best wrestling I have ever seen. And if you can:t see it, you could always feel the excitement from the voice of Jim Ross as he was announcing the matches.

  • @Jiltedin2007 I must agree about UWF. I was a wrestler and I retired in 1986 and one of my last matches was for Bill Watts. It was the fastest paced, best match I ever had.

  • It never gets more excited that it did with the UWF in the 80's!

  • I guess Terry Taylor no longer 'rules the roost' in TNA.
