Conting of votes at Ayany Primary School polling station In Nairobi's Kibira area (one of the areas most affected by post-election unrest and violence). Counting process was Election Commission of Kenya polling cleark unfolds ballot papers, anounces the vote, shows all agents and observers present the polling paper. The polling papers were then heaped according to votes cast, counted and tallied with all party agents and observers present at that polling point. If tally was not agreed votes were recounted. Results were then filled into Election Comission of Kenya issued form, signed by polling clerk, station's polling officer, party agents and independent observers. The signed form with all votes were placed into ballot boxes, sealed and dispatched with polling officer and party agents to tally centre at Nyayo Stadium at Nairobi.
