  • According to Vr-Zone Creative's 100-Core Chip Looks like AMD's Fusion, but with ARM CPUs!

Does that mean that Creative Labs Licensed Fusion Schematics to Knock out ARM Proccessors after Arm Proccessors Challenge to Intel! Could be another Media Proccessor Chip that Goes with Fusion to compete with Haswell's new Multi-Media Functions!

  • I own the ZMS-08 tablet (circa 2010) and some complaints were once valid but with frequent system software upgrades from Android 2.1 to 2.2 my experience is ALL of the complaints except those expressing a preference for capacitive screens over resistive screens has been addressed. Many of the early complaints are "Android" problems, don't forget the OP SYS is also a work in progress. The workmanship and hardware is very good for the price. My iPod)s) and iTouch still occasionally "freeze."

  • My ziio is unstable like hell. Hang intermitently. Creative is renown for its quality but not on tablets. The QA is questionable. I am starting to imagine their management istaken for a wild ride by some crazy dubious renegade scientist who promise big but just cant deliver, as in what the market really need.

  • Content not there, no gps, no 3g. Not much of the use of video conferencing if you need wifi to be set up and you dont have it. Raw processing power is just not everything nowadays.

  • ZiiLABS ZMS-40 are the best tablet on the market today December 2011 , 4 core , 8mm deep , 10.1inch screen , 10h autonomy , only 460 grams !!! (IPAD 1 = 720 grams , IPAD 2 = 640 grams) and not last ZMS-20 have Micro-Sd reader + mini-HDMI 1.4 new standard ! and read all video format mkv, avi , bluray (m2ts) ,h.264 codec , mp4 , with FULL HD resolution in 1920x1080 pixels in 2d or 3D format , thank you ZIILABS for make this come true ! miss only 3d screen free glasses to be absolute complet !

  • As for the sound quality, if you aren't a sensitive music listener you won't even notice a remarkable difference with galaxy tab or IPAD at all.

With all the cons that I listed, I would have been better off settling with just a Creative MP3 player or spend a bit more for an IPAD or galaxy tab.

    Frankly speaking.

  • @Neojhun Then it better be good. Their ZIIO 10 which I bought is the worst investment I ever made. No android market, the thing hang frequently, the resistive screen is non responsive after a while despite their reassurance that it's not important to have capacitive. The audio half way disappear if you scroll the music back. The implementation is so bad that I feel its a disgrace to use it in public! It's such a dinosaur compare to IPAD.

The only consolation is the sound quality.

  • @octzh That thing has a stupid amount of raw power. It will handle RMVB easily even in software without hardwared acceleration, probably even at 720p.

  • amazing technology

  • No matter how good this guy's English is, they are not going far in China as long as they can't play RMVB. That's something basic. And as soon as I post this, Creative's competitors will see this and outdo them almost immediately. Wake up creative!
