It's something to do with the box, with a slit that is hard to see. It's easy to count cards, and place it in the exact location of where it should be backwards. Simple trick is simple!

@moussa414 the red nail polish was an idea his mom had to create a diversion since it would draw your eyes away from what he was doing and after his mom died he continued to do it in her honor.
