You wouldn't guess that it was the Ebene String Quartet's first time playing in New York...The four musicians waltzed onto the stage at Le Poisson Rouge and more than kept their cool. They played Haydn in the first half and some jazz riffs in the second. As an encore the musicians stood up, instruments in hand, and sang for the late night crowd--then--seamlessly they sat back down and finished off the concert.
