A Comcast Technician Sleeping on my Couch

A Comcast technician came to replace a faulty modem. After spending an hour on hold with Comcast's central office, he fell asleep on my couch. I've been in my apartment for three weeks and my internet connection is still non-functional. This is my tribute to Comcast, their low quality technology and their poor customer service.

UPDATE: My service has been restored. A Comcast team spent five hours to get everything up and running. Thanks for all your advice.

  • im a cable installer and theres been many time that ive nearly fallen asleep at customers houses on hold, when your working 14-16hrs a day 6 days a week it breaks you down fast....and yea he probably was fired thanks to this video and not his fault at all poor guy

  • @punk3ch0 Bullshit. Comcast has by far the worst customer service ever. In the past year I had to trade in my modem and cable box five times because they keep giving me faulty (that people have already returned) equipment. There is something wrong with my cable connection and for five months they have sat on their ass and done nothing about it even after having someone come in to check the line. It takes a fucking week to get a technician to come to my house.

  • Im a computer network engineer and can easily troubleshoot any internet connection problems with comcast modem myself, as i have it myself. most issues are actually very basic to the trained eye, when connection is disrupted. needless to say i never have once called in a technician in the five years i have been a customer. if you live in chicago and need help, dont wait days for a comcast technician, contact me instead and i dont charge much either. email me here on YT.

    I just love the "Internet tough guys" I see posting on forums all the time...

    And yeah yeah, you'll tell me you're tall and muscular and have nth degree in some martial art, but that doesn't change the fact that people that speak the way you do of others are simply imprinting their own insecurities on said other in an effort to make himself feel superior.

  • @texascommtech That, or he could be an asshole that stomps kittens to death for a laugh. It's completely irrelevant. The whole point of this video is to highlight how shitty it is that this Comcast company keeps their own techs on hold for over an hour when they're trying to do their job.

  • If its that bad buy your own modem and install it yourself dumbass. Seriously it shouldn't have gone beyone one badd appointment or one day without internet. Thsts your bad for letting it linger that long.

  • Get Roku and say goodbye to Comcast and Dish! We are so happy; not paying for advertisements, crummy commercials, and over 80% of programs we don't like or watch.
