Two clips from the two films in which Sean utters a pair of strangely similar lines about evil forces conquering the world, made all the weirder because they're both '80s movies.
Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
Highlander and The Last Crusade are two of my favourite flicks ever, so it was inevitable that I'd notice something like this eventually. The fact that Sean has a major role in both is probably just another part of the conspiracy.
As a bonus, the Last Crusade bit has an opportunity for an incredibly obvious Army of Darkness joke, but I resisted the temptation to do something with it. For now, anyway.
EDIT - It's come to my attention that in the final scene of Last Crusade, Sean mentions how Elsa "thought she'd found a prize". The evidence is mounting!
ANOTHER EDIT: As a wise commenter has pointed out, both films also deal with the topic of immortality. I think you'd be hard-pressed to call all this a coincidence.
Highlander and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade are the property of their respective owners, as are their soundtracks. I made no claims to own them.
And both deal with immortality.
