  • Amazing animal!!

Why did the rider not get the horse into the proper mounting stance?

  • Thank you! What do you consider to be the proper mounting stance? I am always willing to learn something.

  • This is a nice looking and moving Stallion. Is he still being offered for stud?

  • I am sorry, but he has been sold. I don't think the new owner is offering him to outside mares. Thank you for your compliment though!

  • This horse is not a show horse. He is only a trail horse and as far as I can tell, he has never been a show horse. I am pretty sure that nothing mean or cruel is being done to this horse unless you consider a clean stall with plenty of hay, food and water cruel. Just because he is a walking horse does not mean he is being abused.

  • don't u add weights to their shoes??? how mean...that's not natural....

  • This horse is wearing a keg shoe, which means that he does not have any weights added to his feet. He is a trail horse and heavy shoes will fall off easily when the horse is trail ridden.

  • hog, tell ppl why there's so much colic at the track. Tell 'em it's from stress, which causes gastric ulcers. There was a recent study out that showe like 70% or more o the horses stabled at the track had ulcers. My 2 cents. BTW, for the record, I don't like the big lick crap. I like 'em flat shod. My own horses are barefoot.

  • If it wasnt natural god wouldnt have put them HERE!

  • Parking out is not a proper mounting stance. It is incredibly hard on the horse's back ifs someone mounts the horse while it's parked out.

  • I agree. My first horse was a Perch./QH mare and after I sold her and bought my two TWH , I am now hooked for life with the TWH, their gentle disposition and their personalities.

  • wow those horses are tall!!

  • saddleseat is saddlebreds, not walkers. thats what i was meanin. i wasnt talkin bout the saddle. i was talkin bout the breed

  • Actually, Tenn. walkers, Morgans, National show horses, Arabians, Foxtroters, and Mountian Horses all use cutback Saddleseat saddles for Park/pleasure show classes.

  • no. saddleseat is saddlebreds.

  • are you blind? thats a full blooded walker. we have 2, so i guess cuz they rack they arent a tenn walker either.

  • yes it is. why don't you think it is?

  • its so great to see a flat shod Walker, thank you very very much for taking such good care of him!

  • yes it is.
