@sjb37bur Have you ever tried barrel racing? Have you ever ridden? Accedents can happen, and even more in Barrel Racing. When your going that fast, it's hard to keep control, and I'm not gonna lie, some of them DID run their horses even after they bucked at the gate, so in that case it as their own stupid fault (lol), but i want to give them credit. I would like to see YOU stay on that long on a bucking horse

@Jess03Hilton19 Do you ever care, or wonder why the horse bucks? This is not normal behavior for a horse, and I assure you it won't happen unless they experience some sort of panic or pain. For example if they're in pain caused by a kicking rider or spurs, and when they try to run away, are being held back by reins. I don't need to jockey my couch, I have my own horse, thank you very much. A horse that has never ever showed any behavior even remotely similar to this. Because he doesn't need to.

@ElisabethHolmane I was one of the riders in this video....have you ever ridden a barrel horse? i didn't think so....why don't you keep jocking your couch and let us do what we do. Accidents happen and i assure you when your horse launches/bucks or rears 9 times outta 10 its not something you as a rider KNOW is going to happen...reins aren't being jerked on purpose theres a 1200lb animal between our legs tossing us around. anyways go jockey your couch.

@equistera that horse was a colt at the time and the girl riding that colt is a BIG NAME in the barrel horse industry.

Every single 'accident' in this video was caused by the riders. Instead of praising the riders for being able to hold on, just look at what they're doing. They pull the reins, and kick the horse at the same time, and the horse still tries to do it's best. The horse bucks as a CLEAR sign of pain and discomfort, but they just keep on kicking and pulling the reins. The riders deserved what happened. Accident or not - this should never, ever happen. No horse deserves this. Simply horrible.

most of those were tantrums but seriously some of them kept pulling back when their horses reared seriously how stupid can u get, and as for the ones that bucked at the gate i give the riders credit bc the horses were acting up bc they obviously didnt wnt to or didnt feel like doing what they were supposed to and they needed to shown whose boss.
