Out of the Bac Ha Sunday Market that closes at noon and up and over the same mountains back to Lao Cai. A fast look at the bridge leading from Vietnam to China's border, and lots of time spent just hanging around the train station square waiting for the night train back to Hanoi.

It's heartbreaking watching the women carrying and selling huge loads of fresh fruit and vegetables through the streets. Tough way to survive.

travelswithsheila in ancient time the real vietnamese use chinese letter. today chinese are become so much different than vietnamese because in china they mix with those 600 million mogolia and manchuria , korean , tibetan also japanese. the vietnamese also mix with cambodia, lao, thailand etc.. because in ancient time Mongolia dynasty, Manchuria also japanese invade china and rule china in the past.

@travelswithsheila tell me there are many country are better rich than vietnam like japan hongkong korea singapore why you not visit . what you like about vietnam? i love vietnam because the weather is very beautiful warm all year long. in the winter time vietnam about 64 degree. but in U.S winter time ice snow 20 degree is very cold as hell and so ugly.
