These guys should have been in the very first R&R HoF induction. It's a crime it took so long for them to be recognized. Mel Taylor was one of the best R&R drummers of his era. Nokie Edwards is very under-rated. He can play any style. Don Wilson and Bob Bogle fill out one of the best line-ups in rock history. I idolized them when I was a teenager.

I love the Kinks, but I wouldn't call them Metal. Dick Dales Pipeline has been called the first "Metal" song. He did a monster remake with SRV. It hurt good.
