Well as I just heared on another video:

The Irish used to create cared out turnips. But when the first Irish migrated to America they started using pumpkins because they where cheaper and there where more pumpkins available than turnips. Then they also found out that pumpkins where bigger and easier to carve, so they stayed with the pumpkins and many other people started copying it this way.

  • I quite enjoyed watching this :D The tone and the music fit it perfectly.

But I have to wonder...how did we come from a carved turnip, like Jack carried, to carved pumpkins?

  • I enjoyed the story - nice telling and music. I especially liked the Halloween Tree depicted near the end. I want one! :)
