The CV2 was the poormans car of its time, and it still will be today, but this is not a bad thing, it was "the poormans car", because it was cheap, efficient, and was easy to fix and maintain. (also being so light, if you got stuck, it was a cinch to get unstuck!
That is without doubt the worst car that has ever appeared in a James Bond movie, that particular 2CV is fitted with the engine from a Peugeot because the weedy Citroen unit had less power than a lawnmower engine.
That is partially correct, the 2CVs (there were several for the filming) had a 4 cylinder air cooled engine either 1220CC or 1300cc from a Citroen GS as opposed to the normal 2 cylinder air coled 602cc engine. I have a 2CV now and for running around town and local countryside it is great
