Honestly. Do not look at Christians. Look at Jesus. And Christians, no matter what happens, don't take your eyes off of Him.

History: The Holy Spirit moved through California and converted thousands. These young people walked in faith, free with Christ as their head. Then wicked clergy men lifted themselves up and made themselves head over these young converts. These replacement Christ then built buildings, sent the sheep to work and coerced money from them so that they could have a life of ease. This is the story of 2000 years of Churchianity.

You should read the story of this guy named David. As a matter of fact, I think he's in the Bible :). Also, maybe Saul, Samson, Gideon erm... a lot of people in the Bible had sin problems while they were in ministry. God still loved them and used them hehe. I don't agree with homosexuality, but I think it's a great testimony of God's love, grace and mercy that he moved so powerfully through someone with that kind of lifestyle. The most hated sin by the church really.

Lonnie was really crapped on by the church. They used him as a tool to grow their congregations and make more money. Yes, he struggled with homosexuality (and repented of it), but none of those leaders reached out to help him. They only discarded him when he became a "liability". He was as sincere and in love with Jesus as the day is long! While many of these preachers continue to hide their own sins, at least Lonnie was never deceptive about his struggle.
Hey Paahau, you shouldn`t make your decision concerning God on the basis of how christians are. You know there are such a lot of different christians, some are really close to God, some are superficial, and some are in between. And everybody can just explain the things as good as he has understood them by now.
You know I became a christian without even knowing another christian, just because I began to sense God and gave my life over to him. The only "christian message" I had heared of was

It is really sad that he got snared by satan and pulled into a sinful lifestyle before he died, but we can not just discredit everything this guy did because he fell into satan's trap. I hear he was a great man of God and really loved people as we are commanded to do. It is easy to judge others when they fall, especially people who are unconventional in the first place. He fell, but don't we all at one time or another. Sin is sin and even though we may not think what we do is as bad,to God it is.
