  • Hey, Randy! Do you know if Forged Stainless Steel is as good as carbon steel??

    Thanks!

    -Chandon864430

  • @ChAnDoN864430 For iaito only ( I have a forged SS Hanwei iaito) but not for a functional sword. No stainless steel long blades should be used for anything more that forms practice. No contact, no cutting. They are simply too brittle and not safe.

  • i didn't win, it's cuz i'm black ain't it?

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana LOL your name was in the bowl too. Sorry about your luck, but thanks for playing.

    :-)

  • @Jeeperrandy if i didn't have bad luck i'd have none at all, hopefully only a handful of people play the next one so my chances are much higher. think i'll head to the flea market to see if they have any swords that can keep me entertained until i can get something better, probably not but shopping and looking at all the junk i've learned to ignore and ridicule will be fun.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana LOL, well with only 14 entries, you dad better than a 1in5 chance of winning one of the three prizes. You you and 10 others didn't have that luck. Better luck next time

  • man I was gonna do one. but I had technical difficulties. great to hear we are getting more people participating. sorry I missed it guys I'll try really hard to get into the next contest.

  • @GAR85120514 It's going to be a really nice piece. I hear after the pre-sale, the regular price will be around $500. I can't wait to see them .

  • Thanks Randy, I agree that is one hell of a 1st prize.
